Job Title: Technical Sales Specialist

About the Role:
In this role, you will be working closely with other departments and leadership to drive business growth and expand our customer base. You will be responsible for preparing and delivering technical presentations, conferring with customers and engineers, collaborating with sales teams, securing and renewing orders, planning and modifying products, helping clients solve problems, recommending improved materials or machinery, and helping in researching and developing new products.

Main Responsibilities:
- Prepares and delivers technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers.
- Confers with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements.
- Collaborates with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
- Secures and renews orders and arranges delivery.
- Plans and modifies products to meet customer needs.
- Helps clients solve problems with installed equipment.
- Recommends improved materials or machinery to customers, shows how changes will lower costs or increase production.
- Helps in researching and developing new products.

- Interpersonal savvy; able to collaborate and work closely with other departments and leadership.

- Good judgment skills with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Outstanding time-management skills with proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while meeting deadlines.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to prioritize duties and responsibilities.
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and adaptable; able to work independently within team-focused environment.
- Effective sales competency.
- Technical aptitude with air compression and rotating equipment preferred.
- Knowledge of technical products, rotating equipment, air compression products, and their applications.
- Knowledge of industrial distribution models or multi-step distribution preferred.
- Advocates a safety-first attitude in all aspects of position.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 software; Salesforce experience preferred.

Salary: $90,000 - $125,000 per year
