Job Overview

Enrollment Management's Student Financial Aid Office is seeking a Data Reporting Analyst to report to the Director of Financial Aid position. The ideal candidate will perform data analysis, application development, and collaborate with internal teams to turn data into critical information and knowledge. The selected individual will also be responsible for testing and maintaining data, analysis, and reporting programs, ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and institutional rules and regulations.

Essential Functions
  • Work directly with departmental staff and campus partners to identify business requirements.
  • Perform data extraction and analysis, process data and reporting requests as required.
  • Analyze student data system modules and troubleshoot problems.
  • Review, evaluate, and formulate recommendations on operating procedures, processes, and system improvements.
  • Prepare and submit reports, ensure compliance with standards, and prepare other related reports as assigned.
  • Process and manage data upload of student information.
  • Perform related duties based on departmental needs.
Required EducationBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field.Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.Required Experience
  • One (1) year of business and/or ERP related experience.
  • Basic knowledge of systems and database administration.
Additional Qualifications ConsideredExperience in student financial aid administration in higher education; familiar with MS Excel; provide data extraction and analysis to support financial aid. Knowledge of systems analysis and programming concepts. Physical Requirements/Work EnvironmentOffice environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
