Nurse Specialist

As a Registered Nurse with Steward Health Care, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional healthcare services, and we are seeking a skilled and compassionate nurse to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care, utilizing knowledge, skill, and judgment to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Participate in patient/family/staff education, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Maintain current knowledge and standards of professional nursing practices, staying up-to-date on the latest developments in the field.
- Assist with shift charge nurse duties, making patient care assignments based on skill, experience, and acuity of the patient.
- Direct and precept staff as needed, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
- Participate in quality process improvements, contributing to the development of innovative solutions to improve patient care.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in nursing (ADN) from an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing, preferred.
- Current RN license for the State of Texas or current compact state license.
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience working with electronic medical records systems.
- Consistent work history and longevity with previous employers.
