Job Title: Associate Manager, Hybrid Cloud Architect

At S.C. Johnson & Son, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Associate Manager, Hybrid Cloud Architect to join our Infrastructure and Operations (I&O) - Hosting Services Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the planning, management, support, and oversight of our Hybrid Cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve complex cloud and hybrid cloud issues.
  • Act as technical lead on multiple hybrid and public cloud transformation initiatives.
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to third-party partners, including Managed Service Providers, System Integrators, and other third-party contractors.
  • Be an internal expert on cloud and on-premises technologies.
  • Provide input into SCJ strategies and budgets.
  • Perform cross-functional tasks for Cloud Services to support distributed, Windows/Linux environments and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience as an engineer or architect on a complex cloud transformation initiative.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting distributed, Windows/Linux environments and technologies.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in the engineering and support of cloud and on-premise platforms and technologies.
  • Experience partnering with internal and/or external stakeholders to build or support on-premise and/or cloud services.
Preferred Experiences and Skills:
  • Experience with engineering, deploying, and configuring Azure services (IaaS, PaaS).
  • Experience with hybrid cloud platforms, preferably Azure Stack.
  • Experience with writing infrastructure as code and deploying infrastructure using Terraform.
  • Azure certification (Admin or Architect).
