Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at WB Engineers+Consultants. As a key member of our commissioning team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of building systems, from pre-commissioning to start-up.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the commissioning process, ensuring that all systems are properly installed, tested, and validated.
  • Collaborate with project engineers to develop and implement commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor commissioning progress, identify issues, and provide solutions.
  • Develop and maintain commissioning reports, including documentation of system performance, testing results, and any issues encountered.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, quality, and safety requirements, and audit commissioning activities to verify adherence to these standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to commissioning team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to ensure that commissioning objectives are met and that all parties are informed of progress and any issues that arise.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in commissioning and start-up of building systems, with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Knowledge of HSE standards and regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance in all commissioning activities.
  • Ability to travel to job sites, with a willingness to work flexible hours as required.
