We are seeking a compassionate and creative individual to join our team at Blue Horizon Memory Care as a Resident Engagement Assistant.

This full-time role is primarily responsible for planning and executing daily activities with our residents, promoting a sense of joy and community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging activities and events that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, their families, and our care team to ensure a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute special events and activities that promote socialization and a sense of community.
  • Assist with daily activities, such as arts and crafts, games, and exercise programs, to promote physical and mental well-being.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to residents, their families, and our care team.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role or in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Salary: $14-$16/hr, Monday-Friday.
