We are seeking a compassionate and creative individual to join our team as a Resident Engagement Assistant at Blue Horizon Memory Care. This full-time role is primarily responsible for planning and executing daily activities with our residents, fostering a sense of community and joy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging activities that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of our residents
  • Build strong relationships with residents, their families, and our care team to ensure a supportive and inclusive environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute events, outings, and other activities that promote socialization and well-being
  • Monitor and report on resident engagement and satisfaction, making recommendations for improvement

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service
