Assembler Technician

Job Title: Assembler B
Job Summary:
L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Assembler to work with moderate supervision, following formal written procedures and detailed verbal instructions. The successful candidate will perform tasks required to produce various components and assemble these parts to a point where they are ready for next operational level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform surface preparation, apply protective coating, insulate casings, casting, and operate pressure chambers, as well as carry out various preparatory tasks as needed in the manufacturing process.
- Manage documentation related to production and handle environmental responsibilities, including the collection, containment, and labeling of waste byproducts produced during manufacturing activities.
- Be willing and available to work other shifts and overtime as needed to meet delivery schedules.
- Maintain satellite accumulation areas in a safe and orderly manner and in compliance with environmental regulations.
- Ensure that Hazardous Waste Control Technician is contacted to have non-energetic chemical wastes moved to the chemical waste handling area (CWHA), and energetic wastes (waste explosives) moved to the energetic waste accumulation areas or the thermal treatment units.
- Immediately report spills of chemicals and/or process waters to the Environmental department.
- Implement the facility Emergency Procedures/Contingency Plan in the event of an emergency incident.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support production demands.
- Regular and predictable attendance is expected.
- Customarily have a high consciousness for personnel and equipment safety.
- Must be respirator qualified.
Requirements:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 4 years of prior related experience or 2 years Post-Secondary / Associates Degree with 0 to 2 of prior relevant experience.
- Arkansas Career Readiness Certificate-Silver Level is required for this position.

- Previous mechanical experience desired.
