Monthly inventory checks and adherence to cash handling protocols are also key responsibilities.

Teamwork is at the heart of our operations. As a member of the marina team, you will be trained to handle a variety of tasks across our marina services. Flexibility and a willingness to assist in various capacities are vital components of being part of our team. Most marina staff are multi-functional and engage in diverse tasks, especially during emergencies or peak boating seasons. The phrase "That's not my job" does not apply here; the more versatile the team member, the greater the opportunities for growth and advancement.

Key Responsibilities:


• Support daily retail operations effectively.


• Foster an environment that makes guests feel welcomed, valued, and comfortable.


• Deliver outstanding guest service that exceeds expectations.


• Operate point of sale (POS) systems, complete necessary paperwork, and conduct required counts.


• Receive and manage stock inventory, assisting with stock organization, counting, and documentation.


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the ship store, following a daily cleaning checklist, including managing trash, wiping down surfaces, and keeping the coffee service area tidy.


• Process exchanges, returns, and refunds in line with company policies.


• Adhere to cash handling procedures diligently.


• Report all incidents, injuries, spills, and near misses immediately.

Other duties as assigned, including carrying out responsibilities, performing tasks, utilizing skills, and working in conditions necessary to fulfill all assigned duties.

Qualifications:


• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.


• Previous customer service experience is preferred.


• Retail experience is desirable.


• Prior experience in a marina setting is a plus.

• Work primarily conducted indoors in a well-ventilated environment.

• Ability to stand for extended periods.


• Capability to bend, stoop, lift, rotate, and reach.


• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Work Schedule:

Marinas operate seven days a week, typically from morning until sunset. We strive to provide flexibility while ensuring adequate staffing to meet guest needs. Please note that weekend availability is required.
