Daily Responsibilities:
  • Operate a tractor in and around the facility or on public roads, maneuvering various types of trailers.
  • Conduct pre- and post-shift inspections of the tractor/yard truck.
  • Navigate the tractor/trailer safely throughout the facility within designated lanes and areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness within the assigned tractor/trailer and specified areas.
  • Inspect trailers to ensure they are in good condition before movement.
  • Load and unload freight and supplies or assist in these processes.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and practices while working.
Qualifications for Success at GXO:

To be considered, you will need:
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience with a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past 2 years.
  • A current and valid CDL Class A with a clean driving record.
  • Any necessary additional endorsements for Hazmat and Tanker (if applicable).
It would be advantageous if you also possess:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience operating various types of trailers (tanks, vans, flatbeds).
