Position Overview:

We are seeking a qualified CDL Driver for a fulfilling local role within our established company. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe delivery of products from our facility to various destinations. You will operate different types of vehicles, including straight box trucks, and may also engage in warehousing tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Adhere to the assigned delivery schedule and follow all operational directives accurately
  • Document each delivery step by capturing and uploading photos using our mobile camera system
  • Comply with all safety regulations set forth by regulatory agencies and the company
  • Collaborate with the Delivery Material Handler to determine optimal material placement and assist in unloading
  • Conduct thorough inspections of your vehicle before departure, ensuring all delivery items are secure and compliant with relevant regulations
  • Follow all traffic laws and weight restrictions
  • Complete and submit all required logs and government paperwork in a timely manner
  • Provide customers with invoices upon delivery completion and collect payments for COD deliveries
  • Engage in warehouse duties as needed, including loading and unloading materials
  • This role does not involve over-the-road travel.
Qualifications:
  • Must possess a valid Class A CDL (minimum of 1 year driving experience required)
  • Ability to consistently lift up to 75 lbs
  • Pre-employment drug screening and random testing are mandatory
  • Physical capability to stand, bend, climb, twist, and reach throughout the entire shift
  • Experience with building materials is advantageous
  • Experience with semi-tractors and trailers is beneficial
  • Flatbed and/or straight truck experience is a plus
