Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CDL Truck Driver - Conveyor Operator to join our team. As a CDL Truck Driver - Conveyor Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating a truck to transport materials to and from our facilities, as well as setting up job parameters and inspecting sites to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading.

Key Responsibilities
  • Touch Freight: Lift, push, or move product weighing 75+ pounds
  • Pre-Inspect Truck: Load materials and verify accuracy of load
  • Set Up Job Parameters: Inspect site to ensure a safe environment to load and unload
  • Maintain Communication: Regularly communicate with dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of product
  • Ensure Branch Management: Aware of potential hazards on site
  • Demonstrate Commitment to Safety: Adhere diligently to all safety protocols, while always wearing appropriate PPE
Requirements
  • Age: Must be at least 21 years of age
  • CDL License: Valid Class A/B CDL license in good standing with 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience
  • Conveyor Truck Experience: Preferred
  • Manual Transmission Truck Experience: Experience driving a manual transmission truck and operating heavy equipment for unloading
  • Lifting Ability: Ability to repeatedly lift 75+ pounds
  • Weather Conditions: Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Teamwork: Ability to effectively work both independently and in a team environment
