Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assessment Coordinator to join our team at Tufts University. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and delivering assessments for our current and new Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with course instructors to create student assessments using ExamSoft and Canvas, including developing and editing question banks.
  • Assist faculty with entering grades and evaluations.
  • Distribute banked questions and performance data to faculty for review and approval.
  • Coordinate final review of assessments with course directors.
  • Deliver assessments using Canvas and ExamSoft, and provide support for administration of computer-based examinations.
  • Collaborate with the Registrar to resolve exam scheduling challenges and with Tufts Technology Services to address issues with learning and teaching spaces.
  • Train faculty and students on assessment tools and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED and 5+ years of administrative experience, or a bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in an educational setting.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work-flow, and effectively change priorities and direction.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a keen sense of how to maintain excellent relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced level of proficiency with Canvas and ExamSoft.
  • Experience working in higher education, supporting curriculum and learning.
