We are seeking a skilled Medical Technologist to join our esteemed laboratory team near Katy, Texas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a range of laboratory tests, including hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and immunology. Your attention to detail and ability to accurately analyze and interpret test results will ensure timely reporting to healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities of the Medical Technologist include:

  • Operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting laboratory equipment to ensure peak performance.
  • Adhering to strict quality control protocols and regulatory standards to maintain high lab practices.
  • Documenting and reporting test results in the Laboratory Information System (LIS) accurately.
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to communicate test results and their implications for patient care.
  • Participating in ongoing education and training on new laboratory technologies and methodologies.

Requirements for the position include:

  • Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) through ASCP, AMT, or a similar accrediting body.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
  • Current Texas state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Medical Technologist.
