Health Information Specialist

InGenesis is seeking a skilled Health Information Technician to join our team. As a Health Information Technician, you will play a critical role in compiling health information for patients at our client's facility.
Key Responsibilities- Review, catalog, and verify medical reports for completeness and accuracy.
- Prepare and type health information forms, ensuring all necessary information is included.
- Compile and type statistical reports to support healthcare decisions.
- File reports into health information records, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Retrieve health information records from the filing system, ensuring timely access to critical information.
- Record information in logs, tracking changes and updates to health information records.
- Provide information from health information records to support healthcare decisions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless health information records procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience or coursework in records management and medical terminology preferred.
- Knowledge of health information technology and systems.
