1. Lead the complete design and development lifecycle to identify competitive, efficient, and sophisticated electric and hybrid electric propulsion systems and subsystems.
2. Participate in the identification of system requirements, flow-down, and functional allocation.
3. Execute detailed design phases, including early design and development processes (market surveys, alternatives analysis, interface control documents, functional design documents, and test plans/reports), followed by design reviews and documentation packages.
4. Utilize state-of-the-art CAD tools to capture approved hardware designs and demonstrate that the design meets the identified requirements during large-scale system integration exercises and verification stages.
5. Test EPPS designs using advanced hardware-in-the-loop testing methods to support integration with larger systems.
6. Assist in laboratory and field testing of prototype EPPS to validate final designs.
This position can be filled at various levels, depending on your education and experience. Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree; a Master's Degree is preferred. Additional experience and/or education may be required for higher levels.

4. Mentor and train assigned employees in developing technical, project, and business development skills.
Required Skills:
1. Design experience in low and high voltage power conversion and battery systems, including lithium-based battery chemistries.
2. Proficiency in CAD tools for design concepts, layouts, and procurement documentation generation.
3. Demonstrated ability to work within or lead a technical team.
4. Hands-on experience with a solid understanding of electronics concepts, with proven ability to build, troubleshoot, and integrate hardware into complex systems.
Preferred Skills:
