Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team in a school district near Elk River, MN. This is a full-time role working with students K-12, providing support to evaluate and diagnose a wide range of speech, language, and communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide treatment for individuals with communication disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of patients, taking into account their specific goals and objectives.
  • Perform screenings to identify speech or voice disorders, and provide recommendations for further evaluation or treatment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress, utilizing electronic health records and other documentation tools.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in speech therapy, with a strong background in communication disorders and treatment modalities.
  • Strong knowledge of assessment and treatment techniques, including speech and language pathology principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
