Job Summary

As a Senior Sous Chef at Marriott International Inc, you will be responsible for leading the culinary team to deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will oversee the daily kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food products and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of culinary professionals to achieve exceptional guest satisfaction and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement culinary strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of culinary operations.
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor expenses to achieve budgeted goals.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, as well as regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to team members to improve performance and achieve goals.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 4 years of experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related field.
  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 2 years of experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related field.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in leading high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to drive business results and improve processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
