Laboratory Duties:

  • Accessioning samples efficiently.
  • Decanting urine samples into stabilizing solutions.
  • Transferring swab samples into appropriate solutions.

  • Decanting serum into specialized tubes.
  • Loading samples and reagents onto analytical equipment.
  • Managing waste disposal on the Cobas 6800/8000 systems.
  • Conducting laboratory housekeeping to maintain a clean environment.
  • Reporting non-conformances or incidents to management.
  • Adhering to management system requirements and quality standards.
  • Handling and disposing of confidential and hazardous waste responsibly.
  • Monitoring and receiving laboratory supplies and reagents.
  • Conducting stock checks and maintaining accurate records.
  • Logging and addressing problematic samples.

Packing & Dispatch Responsibilities:

  • Preparing components for kits.
  • Assembling sexual health self-sampling kits according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensuring organization and cleanliness of workstations and storage areas.
  • Assisting with delivery receipts as necessary.
  • Completing target sheets with precision.
  • Maintaining traceability of kits and supplies.
  • Implementing proper stock rotation practices.
  • Labeling and dispatching kits in line with SOPs.
  • Prioritizing dispatch based on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Preparing mail sacks for daily collection.
General Requirements
