Assistant General Manager OEM

As a key member of our hotel management team, you will be responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction and the efficient operation of the hotel. In the absence of the General Manager, you will supervise operating departments and assist in revenue generation programs. Your focus will be on achieving hotel profitability through cost control, guest satisfaction, and development of associates.
Responsibilities
Supervise operating departments in the absence of the General Manager and/or the Manager on Duty.
Assist the General Manager in revenue generation programs and participate in the sales effort.
Develop managerial and hourly employees through the implementation of Corporate-approved training programs.
Create an environment where employees make empowered decisions to ensure guest satisfaction.
Assist the General Manager with the creation of financial reports as required by the Corporate Office.
Requirements
At least 5 years progressive experience in a Rooms or F&B department Hotel.
Previous supervisory experience required.
Must be proficient in Windows Operating Systems.
Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
Must work well in stressful high-pressure situations.
Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating preventing identifying and solving problems as necessary.
Must have the ability to assimilate complex information data etc. from disparate sources and consider adjust or modify to meet the constraints of the particular need.
Must be effective at listening to understanding clarifying and resolving the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests.
Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data and basic arithmetic functions.
Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
