Job Title: Paramedic

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Paramedic to join our team at AMR Corp.

Job Summary:

The Paramedic will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and transportation services in emergency situations. This role requires strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient situations and determine the best course of action using progressive Paramedic protocols.
  • Utilize medical equipment and procedures to provide advanced care, including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, and suction devices.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their loved ones to provide information and reassurance.
  • Act as a team leader and take responsibility for scene and unit management as needed.
  • Drive the ambulance on 911 responses and work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • State Paramedic License
  • State Driver's License
  • BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
  • Driving record in compliance with company policy
  • Pass Physical Agility Test
  • Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
