We are seeking a highly skilled Firmware Engineer to join our team at BotBuilt. As a Firmware Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing firmware for novel mechanisms, as well as working closely with electrical and hardware teams to design systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and manage firmware for novel mechanisms
  • Work closely with electrical and hardware teams to design systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy firmware
Requirements
  • Proficiency with C/C++
  • Demonstrated skill at sensor integration and embedded control
  • Familiarity with hardware in the loop testing
  • Experience with STM and PlatformIO are strongly preferred
  • Previous experience with Python is advantageous
  • Experience with IoT deployment is preferred, particularly experience with Balena
