About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Propulsion Manufacturing Engineer to lead the development and production of the Aeon-R Nozzle hardware and manufacturing processes for the Terran-R vehicle. This is a critical role that requires a high degree of autonomy, accountability, and initiative.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the manufacturing trades and develop processes for fabricating, testing, and delivering the Aeon-R Engine Nozzle
  • Collaborate with the production and design teams to ensure that as-built hardware meets all aspects of the intended design
  • Investigate, resolve, and screen hardware non-conformances
  • Drive failure investigation efforts, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective action(s)
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing methods and systems to improve quality, cost, and lead time
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related technical field
  • 3+ years of direct experience working with nozzle assemblies or related hardware
  • Ability to effectively investigate, resolve, and screen hardware non-conformances
  • Knowledge of general assembly and test procedures, including tolerance stack-up analysis, structural proof testing, and pressurized leak checks
  • Experience with tooling design, including conceptualization, modeling, and drafting, and detailed analysis
