Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and support during field operations, aligning workflows with schedules for optimal efficiency.
  • Oversee all on-site installation, maintenance, repairs, and testing activities, ensuring thorough documentation of all related processes.
  • Identify errors and technical issues, determining appropriate solutions to generate timely and detailed service reports.
  • Engage with the technical team and disseminate information across the organization to foster positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Address customer needs by making informed recommendations and briefings utilizing relevant field automation systems, procedures, and protocols.
  • Facilitate assistance by analyzing system requirements, including ordering and gathering essential components, completing installations, and conducting quality assurance tests.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction by employing creativity and resourcefulness to investigate complaints, identify solutions, suggest improved operating techniques, and recommend system enhancements.
  • Manage existing accounts by reviewing work orders, planning travel schedules, addressing concerns, conducting tests, and resolving issues.
  • Conduct tele-maintenance when working remotely.

Skills & Qualifications

Required:

  • Technical degree preferred or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in testing, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing CNC and automated equipment, both electrical and mechanical.
  • Understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical/electronic circuits.
  • Ability to adapt to changing work schedules and flexible shifts.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and self-management skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Siemens 840D Power Line or Solution Line.
  • Familiarity with Beckhoff Controls.
  • Knowledge of Fanuc Robot systems.
  • Ability to interface with Fanuc systems.
  • Experience with mobile applications and tools.
  • Awareness of chemical, health, and safety regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Additional requirements include a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to obtain a US passport.
  • Preference for candidates residing in the Mid-West Region within proximity to a major airport; other locations may be considered.
  • Willingness to travel nationally 75% and occasionally internationally.

Training Opportunities

· Training will be provided at our global headquarters for 2-3 weeks.
