Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Parts Advisor to join our team at Diehl CDJR of Butler. As a key member of our Parts Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate ordering, receiving, and stocking of parts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the Service Team: Work closely with our technicians and service advisors to identify and order parts needed for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including tracking stock levels, ordering parts, and receiving and storing shipments.
- Part Ordering and Receiving: Order parts from suppliers, receive and inspect shipments, and ensure that all parts are properly stored and organized.
- Quality Control: Verify the quality and accuracy of parts received, including checking for damage or defects.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our customers, including answering questions and resolving issues related to parts and inventory.
Requirements:
- Experience: Prior experience in a retail or wholesale automotive parts environment is highly recommended.
- Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
