Job Title: Senior General Ledger Accountant

AccessiBe is seeking an experienced Senior General Ledger Accountant to join our finance team. As a key member of our accounting operation, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our financial records.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with month-end close activities, including preparing and posting month-end accruals, prepaid entries, fixed asset, cap software, lease, payroll, commissions, stock-based compensation, and other miscellaneous entries.
  • Prepare month-end account reconciliations, research and resolve issues timely, and assist with the preparation of financial statements.
  • Review and approve vendor bills processed by AP specialists to ensure proper coding to GL accounts and cost centers, and transactions are posted appropriately to the correct accounting period. Reconcile vendor statements and correct discrepancies.
  • Review and process employee expense reimbursements ensuring compliance with company policies. Work with credit card holders to ensure all transactions are coded and classified correctly and reconcile monthly.
  • Record cash activity into the general ledger, reconcile bank statements to the general ledger, and research/resolve any un-reconciled cash transactions timely and accurately.
  • Prepare monthly cash analysis and forecast.
  • Prepare monthly flux analysis and provide explanations for variances.
  • Special Projects: Support management in completing special projects, ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests, and other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 4 to 6 years of relevant accounting experience in progressively responsible roles.
  • Strong working knowledge of US GAAP principles, ASC 606, and financial statements with multi-entity and multi-currency environment preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in spreadsheets (MS Excel & Google Sheets) and experience with ERP preferably NetSuite.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Public accounting experience preferred; CPA certification a plus.
Advantages:
