Job Summary

As Senior Vice President, Enterprise Chief Medical Officer, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight to medical affairs and enterprise clinical leaders. Your expertise will drive the development and execution of CareSource's medical affairs strategy, ensuring high-quality care and optimal financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve member health status, quality of care, and budgeted loss ratios.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations to the executive leadership team on trends and potential solutions to positively impact clinical quality and medical cost.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Lead and support RFP/Growth and M&A activities.
  • Ensure comprehensive budget oversight and analysis of financial data.
  • Consult on vendor partner opportunities and provide expertise in clinical program development.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to medical directors and staff.
  • Drive a culture of measureable outcomes and accountability.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Degree program as a Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic (DO) medicine.
  • Successful completion of a residency training program, preferably in primary care.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of clinical practice experience.
  • Managed care medical review/medical director experience.
  • MBA is preferred.

Working Conditions

General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time.

Compensation

$300,000 - $500,000. CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate's education, training, and experience as well as the position's scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level.
