Key Responsibilities:
The Systems Administrator will play a vital role in supporting our Maryland Judiciary project, undertaking the following tasks:
- Oversee and maintain all architecture components delivered by PeopleSoft.
- Assist in planning for capacity and resource allocation of platform and infrastructure.
- Provide recommendations based on best practices for software, hardware, and configuration adjustments to enhance system performance.
- Conduct reviews, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems related to all PeopleSoft components.
- Implement application patches, bundles, and maintenance packs for both Batch and Online objects.
- Manage patches and upgrades for PeopleTools versions 8.59 and .60.
- Administer and manage packages on PUM virtual machines.
- Monitor and maintain both external and internal interface components.
- Analyze and execute migrations of internal and external PeopleSoft objects.
- Ensure compliance with project development standards among developers.
- Collaborate with Database Administrators and Server Administrators as necessary.
- Provide assistance to developers and users as needed.
- Work onsite for two days each week.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Submission of three supervisory references along with your resume.
- A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, as determined by the AOC.
- A minimum of three (3) years of extensive experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 FSCM, HCM, ELM, and Portal in a development or functional consultant capacity.
- A minimum of three (3) years of extensive experience with PeopleSoft tools 8.59 and later, including Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, SQR, BI/XML Publisher, Integration Broker, PS Query reporting, Security configuration, AWE, CI, and Process Scheduler.
- Preferred: Five (5) years of extensive experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 FSCM, HCM, ELM, and Portal in a development or functional consultant capacity.
- Preferred: Five (5) years of extensive experience with PeopleSoft tools 8.59 and later, including Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, SQR, BI/XML Publisher, Integration Broker, PS Query reporting, Security configuration, AWE, CI, and Process Scheduler.
- Preferred: Experience in PeopleSoft upgrades and testing, selective adoption processes, data archiving best practices, PeopleSoft database administration, Oracle database administration, WebLogic administration, and troubleshooting of PeopleSoft Internet Architecture components.
- Preferred: Advanced knowledge of SDLC methodologies and processes, SQL, Oracle 19C databases, and/or REST-based web servers.
- Preferred: Exceptional customer service skills.
