Manufacturing Production Associate

The role of a Production Worker at KCARC involves critical responsibilities to ensure smooth operations within the manufacturing environment. The individual will be expected to adhere to safety protocols and maintain high production standards.
Key Responsibilities- Uphold a clean, safe, and organized workspace in accordance with safety regulations.
- Meet production targets as established, providing updates on progress and any challenges to the Shift Supervisor.
- Keep all machinery and tools in optimal condition, reporting any issues promptly.
- Follow established procedures and complete necessary documentation accurately.
- Arrive at the designated work area punctually at the start of each shift and return from breaks on time.
- Communicate any tool, equipment, or material needs to the supervisor to ensure efficient production flow.
- Document and report any workplace accidents in a timely manner.
- Notify the supervisor within thirty minutes if unable to attend work.
- Conduct initial inspections to verify job setups are correct.
- Perform quality checks on production outputs to ensure standards are met.
- Maintain a personal productivity rate of 65% of established norms while ensuring 100% quality.
- Fulfill additional duties as required.
- Be prepared to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 100 pounds with assistance when necessary.
- Be available for mandatory overtime as needed.

A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with prior experience in manufacturing settings.
Physical RequirementsThe physical demands of this position require the ability to operate various tools and equipment, including pneumatic and hand tools, as well as woodworking and metal shop machinery.
