About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fiber Technician to join our team at Metronet. As a Fiber Technician, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining our 100% fiber-optic network, ensuring that our customers receive the fastest and most reliable internet speeds in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and troubleshoot fiber-optic cables and equipment
  • Provide exceptional customer service and education on our products and services
  • Earn commissions by promoting our services to customers
  • Work collaboratively with our team to meet key performance metrics
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in the telecom or fiber industry (preferred but not required)
  • Physical ability to work in various conditions, including attics, crawl spaces, and adverse weather
  • Ability to lift and carry loads of up to 75lbs
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
