Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is $5,000 - $6,000 per quarter, depending on the number of credit hours taught. Adjunct faculty members are eligible for benefits after working 50% of a full-time load for two consecutive quarters. These benefits include a Deferred Compensation Program (DRS) retirement savings plan, TIAA supplemental retirement savings plan, sick leave, Aflac, space available tuition waiver, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), fitness center, reduced rate childcare, and priority consideration for on-site childcare.

Job Description

We are looking for a qualified instructor to teach anthropology courses, including cultural studies, anthropological theory, and research methods. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Anthropology from an accredited college or university and basic computer competency, preferably with experience using MS Office applications. Prior teaching experience is desirable, especially at the college level.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Mastery of anthropological concepts and theories, particularly cultural anthropology.
  • Experience in teaching anthropology courses, either at the non-college level or as an adjunct faculty member.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as sociology, history, or a social science discipline.
