Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant II to join our team at Providence Medical Group. As a Medical Assistant II, you will work under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to provide patient care to assigned patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all aspects of the Medical Assistant I role and demonstrate full competence in clinical needs and functions for assigned clinic/location of work.
  • Work in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants or completion of two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces.
  • Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant, including clinical skills such as obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire.
  • 6 months of healthcare experience and 6 months of medical assistant experience.
Preferred Qualification
  • National Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
