PAVIR is a nonprofit foundation affiliated with the Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System. We are seeking a part-time Clinical Research Administrative Assistant I to provide administrative support for our team.

About the Role

This position is a part-time opportunity, located on site in Palo Alto, CA. The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills and be able to work independently while also being part of a team. They will assist with general administrative tasks, including regulatory updates and data sharing documents, as well as special projects such as conferences and staff events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with general administrative tasks, including regulatory updates and data sharing documents used by various investigators in this multi-site study.
  • Assist with staff events, accreditation preparation, and other administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Assist with conferences, including room set-up, catering order, registration, and other miscellaneous tasks as needed.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 0 - 1 year of related experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work with confidential and sensitive matters.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow directions and procedures.
  • Ability to complete directed tasks independently.
  • Good understanding of office procedures and filing systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes sick pay policies, a 401(k) plan with a company match, commuter benefits, wellness program, employee assistance program, and professional development training.
