Position Overview

This role is essential in overseeing the receipt and management of stock to align with demand forecasts. It necessitates a fundamental comprehension of production orders, meticulous attention to detail, and the capability to engage with personnel across various levels. Additional duties encompass coordinating administrative tasks for the office, organizing events and social gatherings, and overseeing office spaces and equipment. This position operates under general supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Core Functions include:

  • Facilitating inventory transactions within the manufacturing zones and finished goods storage, including physical transfers and data entry into the ERP system.
  • Restocking consumable items across all manufacturing sectors in accordance with the Kanban system.
  • Conducting cycle counts in all warehouses as per the established cycle counting schedule.
  • Assisting with shipping and receiving tasks as required.
  • Collaborating closely with purchasing, planning, and production teams.
  • Monitoring office supplies, coffee, and kitchen inventory weekly and replenishing as necessary.
  • Assisting in the organization of office events and social functions.
Additional Responsibilities

All roles also entail:

  • Meeting company standards for quality and quantity of work consistently, executing all tasks in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Adhering to company guidelines regarding workplace behavior while fulfilling job responsibilities.

Physical Requirements:

The role may involve active work, including standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks. Occasional exertion of up to 20 lbs. of force may be required. Work environments may experience noise at times.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in inventory management or control.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, or relevant work experience.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong interpersonal abilities and capacity to collaborate with individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Familiarity with Axapta or other ERP systems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong multitasking capabilities.
  • Ability to comprehend written instructions effectively.
  • Basic mathematical and analytical skills are essential.
