Job Title: Electronics Hardware Design Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Hardware Design Engineer to join our team at Milwaukee Electronics Corporation. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing hardware components and systems, including schematics, PCB layouts, and component selection.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and develop hardware components and systems, including schematics, PCB layouts, and component selection
* Create and test prototypes to validate designs, iterating based on performance, reliability, and manufacturability
* Develop detailed design documentation, including specifications, test plans, and user manuals
* Conduct rigorous testing and pre-compliance validation of hardware designs to ensure compliance with industry standards and requirements
* Work closely with software engineers, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate hardware with software and mechanical systems via design reviews, DFM studies and FMEA analysis

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or a related field
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in hardware design engineering, with a strong portfolio of completed projects
* Proficiency in hardware design tools and software, such as Altium Designer, Cadence, or OrCAD
* Experience with PCB design, analog and digital circuit design, and embedded systems
* Strong understanding of hardware testing and validation methods, including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other measurement tools

Working Conditions:

* While performing the duties of this position, employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to type, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms
* Employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch
* Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
