About This Job

This is a hands-on development role that requires a strong technical background and leadership skills. As a Senior Software Architect at Susco, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex software systems, leading a team of developers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of software systems, ensuring they meet business requirements and technical standards.
  • Manage and mentor a team of software developers, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
  • Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and internal IT teams to understand business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Design and implement software systems, including database design, data modeling, and software architecture.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and code comments.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying that knowledge to improve our software development processes and tools.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on technical leadership and architecture.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing complex software systems, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Experience leading a team of software developers, with a focus on mentoring, coaching, and developing team members.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
