Position Overview:

The Department of Radiation Oncology is seeking a dedicated full-time Radiation Oncologist to enhance our physician practice. This role is vital to our cancer care services, utilizing advanced technology including a Varian TrueBeam system, integrated imaging, a CT Simulator, and Raystation Treatment Planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality radiation therapy to a patient volume of 30-40 individuals daily.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including radiation therapists, nurses, medical dosimetrists, physicists, and administrative staff.
  • Engage in collaborative efforts with the broader Mass General Department based in Boston.

Qualifications:

Candidates must possess an MD/DO degree with specialized training in Radiation Oncology. Board certification or eligibility in Radiation Oncology is required. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment are essential.
