Position Overview - Radiation Oncologist

Brigham and Women's Hospital

The Department of Radiation Oncology at Brigham and Women's Hospital is actively seeking a dedicated radiation oncologist to become a vital part of our esteemed medical team. This full-time role will involve working with advanced technology, including a Varian TrueBeam system equipped with integrated imaging, a CT Simulator, and Raystation Treatment Planning software. Our facility currently manages the treatment of 30-40 patients daily, supported by a proficient team of radiation therapists, nurses, medical dosimetrists, physicists, and administrative personnel.

Qualifications for this role include an MD/DO degree, completion of residency training in Radiation Oncology, and Board certification or eligibility in the field.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Opportunities for professional development and collaborative projects with colleagues based in Boston will be readily available.
