Connexity, a Taboola company, is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic accounting team in Los Angeles. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in managing vendor invoices, overseeing payments, and resolving discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities- Invoice Processing: Enter invoices into our accounting system, process weekly check runs, and ensure accurate payment reconciliation.
- Vendor Management: Research vendor status, obtain approval to add new vendors, and validate W9/W8 forms.
- Expense Coding: Process vendor invoices, code expenses to the proper general ledger accounts, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Communication: Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely manner and maintain strong relationships with our vendors.
- Financial Reporting: Ensure expenses are recorded within the proper accounting period and file Forms 1099 and 1096 as required.
- 3+ years of experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role, with demonstrated proficiency in invoice processing and payment reconciliation.
- Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable principles, processes, and best practices.
- Experience with accounting software systems (e.g., Netsuite, QuickBooks) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
