Job SummaryWe are seeking a Respiratory Care Intern to join our team. As a Respiratory Care Intern, you will perform delegated respiratory care treatments, including patient assessments, therapy, and non-invasive mechanical ventilation. You will work in cooperation with licensed respiratory therapists to provide care to non-invasively ventilated patients in medical/surgical units.
Qualifications- Student in good standing, enrolled in an AMA and NBRC approved Associate in Applied Science Degree Respiratory Care Program
- Successfully completed the first year of a Respiratory Care didactic and clinical education or 1-year of patient care related experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
