Job Summary:
Hammond Health Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, implementation, and evaluation of care plans
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Supervise and educate nursing assistants and helpers to ensure high-quality patient care
- Manage the patient care environment to maintain safety and quality
- Follow all North Shore's policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations
Requirements:
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to use necessary supplies and equipment
- Ability to calculate drug dosage
- Meets all health requirements imposed by law
- Ability to relate positively and effectively with patients, families, and staff
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Demonstrated basic computer knowledge and ability
