Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Hardware and Compliance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the development and implementation of engineering procedures and processes to ensure compliance with global EMC product safety and environmental requirements.
  • Set up and conduct EMC, thermal, environmental, and product safety tests in support of agency and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct characterization testing of new and existing products.
  • Work with advanced diagnostic equipment to validate new components and designs.
  • Generate technical reports and communications to support hardware validation and compliance.
  • Coordinate with global engineering teams, external test labs, and vendors to provide test and validation support.
  • Design and construct custom test fixtures, including mechanical build, electrical wiring, and generating Ladder Logic test applications.

Requirements:

  • Associates degree in a technical field of study, such as Electrical Engineering Technology or Instrumentation and Control Automation Technology.
  • Experience with basic electrical system wiring and a programming language.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience conducting hardware design validation testing.
  • Previous experience performing hardware characterization testing.
  • Previous experience performing product safety testing.
  • Previous experience conducting product thermal testing.
  • 2-4+ years of experience in hardware or compliance-related field.
