About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dental Support Specialist to join our team at Little Road Dental Care. As a key member of our hygiene team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental hygienists in delivering top-notch services.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome patients, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience throughout their dental journey.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of patient health histories to provide quality care and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Provide superior assistance to supported hygienists during various procedures, adhering to state dental practice acts and maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
  • Assist with setting up treatment rooms, including stocking and restocking instruments and supplies, to ensure a seamless and efficient workflow.
  • Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record-keeping, maintaining accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Prepare treatment rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols and following OSHA & CDC recommendations, prioritizing patient and staff safety.
  • Partner with providers and team members to follow office systems and maximize office workflow, ensuring a productive and efficient work environment.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced customer-focused environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation, with regular HIPAA training and data safeguards.
