Critical Facility Technician

Responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within the data center. This involves planned preventative maintenance, daily corrective work, and emergency response to emergent issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all equipment is operating at peak efficiency and meets or exceeds 99.999% uptime.
  • Perform daily walk-throughs to document parameters such as power availability, temperature, and humidity.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and repairing equipment, following established safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Onsite Engineering Operations and third-party vendors to ensure seamless operations.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of site-specific processes and procedures, including incident reporting and outage procedures.
  • Utilize BMS and EPMS systems to navigate and verify the nominal status of electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 6+ years of experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift 100 pounds, work at heights up to 60 feet, and climb ladders.
  • Top-Secret/SCI clearance minimum preferred and ability to obtain a Polygraph.
