Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality personal care to ensure residents' comfort and well-being.
  • Adhere to all established guidelines and comply with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Complete necessary administrative tasks to maintain accurate documentation.
  • Manage paperwork, medical forms, charting, and all required documentation as part of the resident care process.
  • Assist residents with daily activities related to dining and recreational programs.
  • Follow individualized care plans to address the specific needs of each resident.
  • Focus on the unique needs of residents and encourage their ability to make personal choices.
  • Accept guidance from the charge nurse regarding direct resident care.
  • Report any allegations of abuse or neglect to the appropriate leadership.
  • Notify management of any hazardous incidents, including injuries or equipment issues.
  • Implement and adhere to disaster plans in case of emergencies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an assisted living environment or with the elderly population.
  • Must possess or be willing to complete the required training for the position, including first-aid training.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate job-related information in English.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of interacting with executives, managers, supervisors, direct care staff, residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to understand directions and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
