Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality personal care to ensure residents' comfort and well-being.
- Adhere to all established guidelines and comply with organizational policies and procedures.
- Complete necessary administrative tasks to maintain accurate documentation.
- Manage paperwork, medical forms, charting, and all required documentation as part of the resident care process.
- Assist residents with daily activities related to dining and recreational programs.
- Follow individualized care plans to address the specific needs of each resident.
- Focus on the unique needs of residents and encourage their ability to make personal choices.
- Accept guidance from the charge nurse regarding direct resident care.
- Report any allegations of abuse or neglect to the appropriate leadership.
- Notify management of any hazardous incidents, including injuries or equipment issues.
- Implement and adhere to disaster plans in case of emergencies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- 1-2 years of experience in an assisted living environment or with the elderly population.
- Must possess or be willing to complete the required training for the position, including first-aid training.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate job-related information in English.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of interacting with executives, managers, supervisors, direct care staff, residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to understand directions and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
