Key Responsibilities:

As a Delegated Authorizing Official (DAO) Representative (Level 3), your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting security planning, assessments, risk analysis, and management support activities.
  • Performing risk assessments to facilitate the integration of legacy systems into the current IT framework.
  • Evaluating cybersecurity measures integrated into systems intended for operational deployment.
  • Preparing risk assessments, action plans, authorization recommendations, and related security documentation.
  • Identifying and supporting comprehensive security requirements to protect data and ensure adherence to information security policies and controls.
  • Incorporating cybersecurity functions into the development and risk management processes, particularly focusing on infrastructure protection and defensive IT strategies.
  • Facilitating communication with clients, IT personnel, and senior corporate executives to define and achieve necessary risk management objectives.
  • Supporting the integration of legacy systems within the respective IT environment.

Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph Clearance.
  • Compliance with DoD M, requiring a minimum certification of IAM Level III.
  • A minimum of eight years of experience in roles such as IT Risk Assessor, System Security Engineer, Information Systems Security Manager, or DAO in programs of similar scope and complexity.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT Engineering is required; alternatively, an additional four years of experience may substitute for the degree, totaling 12 years.
  • Proficient knowledge in system security design, defense-in-depth strategies, engineering life cycles, information domains, cross-domain solutions, controlled interfaces, identification, authentication, authorization, system integration, ICD 503, risk management, intrusion detection, contingency planning, incident handling, configuration control, change management, auditing, security authorization processes, and principles of cybersecurity (confidentiality, integrity, non-repudiation, availability, access control), as well as security testing.
