As a Project Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate budgeting and cost tracking with timely financial reporting. You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, identifying trends and abnormalities, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and contractual terms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Analysis and Reporting
    • Provide detailed financial reports and analysis to stakeholders, ensuring accurate accounting treatment in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies.
    • Analyze variances to identify potential issues and trends, ensuring errors and faulty coding have been corrected.
  • Project Financial Management
    • Perform accurate project financial reporting and analysis as part of the month-end and quarter-end close process.
    • Ensure project reviews are conducted in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
  • Risk Management
    • Identify and assess project risks related to financial performance.

Requirements

  • Education and Certifications
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
    • CPA certification a plus.
    • MBA certification a plus.
  • Experience and Skills
    • Approximately 2 years of relevant experience in financial analysis and accounting.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience with accounting software and financial analysis tools.
    • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
    • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
    • Collaborative and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
