Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation Specialist to join our team at Aspen Technical Staffing, Inc. as an Instrumentation and Automation Services Professional.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Instrumentation and Automation Services: Performs a variety of instrumentation and automation services, including troubleshooting, calibration, installation, testing, and commissioning.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoots instrumentation functionality and I/O operation, and repairs instrumentation, typically involving calibration using a variety of meters and tools.
  • Setup and Calibration: Sets up new instrumentation and calibrates specifications using schematics and drawings.
  • Maintenance and Testing: Performs preventive and corrective maintenance of test apparatus and peripheral equipment, and uses computerized equipment and software to perform testing functions and produce reports.
  • Project Assistance: Assists with a variety of related installation and maintenance projects for automating large industrial processes, and works with engineers testing and commissioning PLC systems.
  • Travel: Travel to customer sites to provide services as required.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in instrumentation and automation services.
  • Strong knowledge of instrumentation and automation principles and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
