Samsung E&A America Inc. is seeking an experienced EPC Project Director to lead our project management team. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience in EPC work, with a minimum of 10 years in a leadership role.

About the Role:

The EPC Project Director will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.

Salary:$140,000 - $170,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the project management team in planning, coordinating, and implementing projects.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks and issues.
  • Communicate project updates and results to stakeholders, clients, and project team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior project managers and team members.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience in EPC work; minimum 10 of those years in a leadership role.
  • Working knowledge of project management engineering; including both Front End Engineering Design and detailed design work.
  • High knowledge of project execution planning, client relations, and communications.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field from accredited institution.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and engineering-related operating systems.
  • Strong business acumen in project planning and management.
