EPC Planning Specialist Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced EPC Planning Specialist to join our team at Transocean. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, baselining, and maintaining critical path method (CPM) schedules for planning and execution of projects in accordance with company standards and contract requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scheduling and project management, with experience working on major projects in the offshore, marine, and/or shipyard industry. You will be responsible for ensuring the appropriate level of project planning and scheduling fundamentals are applied to support activities for all elements of the EPC phases while focusing on construction/excution of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop EPC P6 schedules (Levels 1,2 & 3) for all Projects Managed projects.
  • Resource Load and update schedules during execution phase.
  • Lead and facilitate OBS Planning workshops and collaborate with project stakeholders.
  • Establish, monitor and report KPI Metrics, S-Curve, project milestones & deliverables vs target/ baseline.
  • Conduct schedule analysis and reviews to identify and continually optimize critical path.
  • Supervise and assist Execution Schedulers to ensure schedule maturity is appropriate for execution and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience scheduling major projects in the offshore, marine and/or shipyard industry.
